A SIZZLING HOT SUMMER in New York - July 2007
The invites are now out to the hottest celebrities and atheletes in America. It is the hottest and most luxurious Hamptons annual event and auction of the summer. On July 28 Russell Simmons' Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation's Eighth Annual ART FOR LIFE to benefit New Yorks under served youth takes place. Rush Philanthropic has served over 700,000 urban youth, directed millions in funding from donors including individuals, foundations, and leading corporations to under-served youth, and established two exhibit and education facilities, one in Brooklyn's Clinton Hill neighborhood and the other in Manhattan's Chelsea arts district. Founded in 1995 by brothers Russell, Danny and Joseph "Rev. Run" Simmons Top fashion designers will donate select pieces from their
collections that sport the "Not So Mellow Yellow" color theme.
Each designer will donate a hot yellowitem from their collection for
the first ever "Yellow Wardrobe," whichwill be part of a silent auction, the
proceeds of which will support NYC youth organizations. Stay tuned for more on the special Yellow Fashion Wardrobe.

the Stuart House, Steve Tisch had a keen way of saying out
loud what everyone was really thinking. When charged with
drumming up interest and a $5000 "Day in Neiman Marcus"
Gift Certificate, the producer quipped "Five grand in
Neimans? c'mon, thats not a day, that's 20 minutes!"
The Shop to Show Your Support event held at Varatos' West
Hollywood boutique, raised $110,000 for the org, which is
an adjunct of the Rape Treatment Center at Santa Monica-UCLA
Medical Center."

the British Royal Airforce in the UK to
benefit the Sept 11 Fund and terminally
ill children at Milton Keynes Hospice in
England.
