Anna Wilding recently spoke in Canada at the Calagary Buddhist Film Series and is invited to speak in New York in at the IFP New York. October 2006 Anna has been busy. Wild – The Monk in a Hut, had a successful sneak preview public
screening in its country of origin with a very warm response and sell-out
crowd and
request for more showings.
The event was also successful in raising funds for the tsunami. These
funds were
presented formally to Thai and Sri Lankan relief efforts.
The film was "enjoyed by many". One critic wrote that Anna Wildings
contribution
was "marvellously well judged with just the right amount of seriousness
and humour."
December 2004 Anna Wilding has had a busy few months traveling and completing filming on a project. Those who check this site regularly may have noticed a lack of updates this is due to increased security measures. I thank everyone for their support over the past year and annawilding dot com wishes everyone a happy holiday and a great 2005. Please check the other pages for updates. Anna went sailing on the mediterranean after the Cannes Film Festival and meetings in Italy.
And please note that this website was voted one of the ten top fansites in the world on a French search engine for three years in a row. Anna is still in Europe. She is active with film projects and is trying to find the a good script as an actor. Anna started doing a film in Europe then she left due the producers not meeting their commitments or budget . She is now seeking another project.

Anna Started filming scenes for her film "Stillness
on a Sunny Day" in New Zealand, due for release 2005, and set
in France, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
A
painting by Anna, which hangs for sale in Article on Victoria Street,
Christchurch, New Zealand, for the Month of May. The piece is vibrant
and based on trips in the South Pacific.

Well wow... it
was a busy time for Anna end of 2003... but she also found
time to
help and perform for some charities...see charity section.
Hey guess what:
Anna's show on E! TV and E! Style network was screened. This was a
bit of serious tongue in cheek fun that she did with a celebrity photographer
as well N Prommer/Globe. Anna was quite self-effacing on camera and
quite happy to have a laugh! The show also showed snippets of glamorous
Anna on the red carpet as well...one hot babe...the host said or N
Prommer literally said, "She could rival Nicole Kidman"!!!
Something like that! Anna says (Half laughing) "I'm not as skinny
and svelte as Nicole. I'm slimmish and more curvy/curvaceous... but
this does not diminish my abilities!"
Sadly Anna got quite unwell through Christmas time/start of the year
2004 due to some virus going around (I picked this up from a small
news article) but she is much better now.
Anna is still working on her film project (and writing) with another
partner set in Taranaki, New Zealand and also an other smaller project
set in the USA, South of France, UK .She also is awaiting starts dates
for "the Dream"(one of the lead roles) which was postponed
start 2003 and reading scripts for other projects.
Anna performed in one of the Rod Stewart music videos for his Christmas
release CD and apparently did a day (acting) in some film in Pasadena
on a Latino singer.
September 2003: Anna recently did a dance show pilot for Paramount TV, and also a Rod Stewart Music Video. AUGUST 2003 Exciting News ! Anna very recently was filmed for a TV show in USA which will screen across the USA in September. As soon as we have them, the details will be here first !. Hopefully it will screen in the rest of the world as well. We apologize if this site has been slow responding to fan mail in recent months but there is a new webmaster, that's me!, Max. Oh yes, and before I forget Anna asked me to tell you that she has been on location developing a film project. Obviously this is top secret at the moment, so secret that she will not even tell me anything about it, all she will say is that as soon as she can tell me, I can publish it, hopefully. Finally, look out for a new website design in the next mont or two, we are working on a few ideas at the moment ! January - March 2003 Anna spent some time in Brisbane and recently has been spending time in NZ before heading back to USA and Europe. Anna is in talks for a USA studio movie in July in a leading role. Pray she gets it.She has just finished prepping the feature film the Dream in NZ. She recently did three newspaper articles in NZ and one really fun interview in the UK-First Person-the editor of which has his roots back to the cult British TV series Dr Who. Here's a couple of quotes from that interview: First Trip Abroad - Couldn't jump on a plane fast enough. Used to bike to the airport and watch them take off and land in all their shapes and sizes. Though I first flew when I was five or so, my first trip abroad was Australia when 16. By myself. Anna may also be directing a music video again and according to the newspaper in Taranaki New Zealand. She was recently there about another film project and we understand she did have a drink with a few of the Last Samurai boys. Anna was asked specific advice re filming of the Last Samurai in Los Angeles over three years ago. Recently she was submitted for the part of Tom Cruises wife in the film but we understand that part is now no longer in the script.She would have loved to have done it I am sure. Anna recently also saw the great yacht race America's Cup in Auckland.One of her cousins Rob Waddell (Olympic Gold medallist) was on Team NZ. Except the mast collapsed.Oh well. November 2002 This is Annas Birthday month! Anna recently donated memoribillia to the British Royal Air Force in the UK for worldwide Auction to benefit the Sept 11 Appeal and the terminally ill children of Milton Keynes Hospice in the UK UPDATES; April:2002:OSCARS and beyond. So far.In January Anna consulted on a USA movie due to go into production later this year entitled Searing. She appeared playing Lauren Bissett, JFK's sister in law in a documentary for PBS in the USA.Anna is attached to play a leading role in another movie, a period piece set for this year,weather delays contingent.. She is currently writing the sample treatment/screen-play at the request of a USA studio.Anna has learned that "Fabulous",in which she will play the role of Kandy Love, is still a "go"project however it is still delayed -all are hoping for start dates for this year. March 2002 Anna was photographed recently, in a make up free photo session, to be the face and personality to launch and to endorse a high end natural make up line in the USA.Oscar time was busy for Anna and her hair was cut short for the 2002 Oscars,by one of the top UK stylists from Vidal Sasson, in LA for the Oscars, we hear she looks great with short hair and apparently photos can be seen in a European Vogue and elswewhere.Anna had a fun Oscar night. Anna is currently taking the first step of her pilots liscence and says "it is scary.." Anna confirmed attachment to a leading role on a European USA film set to film this year and she is still waiting on start dates for Fabulous and payment.She may also be appearing in a small feature film filming in NZ.Anna also recently helped a young friend/industry colleague make proper steps to get financing for a Hollywood Film Festival scheduled for this year. 2001 30 Nov 2001 Plans for 2002 Well, all the newspapers are talking about the fact that 2001 proved to be a tumultous year for the film industry however there appears to be a lot of optimism surrounding 2002. .Anna says "Next year is looking good." Anna is lining up several projects as an Actress for next year and awaiting new start dates on the feature and one other project that was delayed this year. 1 Nov 2000 New Zealand Interviews Anna Wilding was recently in New Zeland for some filming and did media interviews- the best we have seen yet was on 31 October 2000 on ChCHTV -at 6pm and then 9pm and discusses tax mechanisms in the film industry and her own career.
1 Nov 2000 Anna goes blonder Beautiful natural blonde ANNA WILDING is going to go blonder for her new movie Fabulous.Anna was last seen as a redhead at the Formosa Cafe in Hollywood where she performed officially for the Actors Fund of America prior to the Tony Awards.The film is being shot in the United States where she lives. However, Anna was recently in New Zealand where she was born and said a lot of her family have been working on Lord of the Rings.
